Love Yourself Be Drug Free

During October 20th - 22nd Whispering Oak Elementary School will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week, the largest drug prevention campaign in the country.

We will have special activities to show the community that Whispering Oak Elementary chooses to be drug free.

Special presentations will take place on Tuesday, October 21st:

  • In the morning, the upper grade level students will participate in a live canine unit demonstration presented by our school's resource officer.
  • In the afternoon, the younger grade level students will get to experience a robotic dog demonstration presented by Winter Garden officers.

Each Day WOE Students will demonstrate that the choose to "Love Themselves & Be Drug Free":

Monday, October 20th: "Sock it to Drugs" - Wear crazy socks to show that WOE is drug free.

Tuesday, October 21st: Red Ribbon Spirit Day - Wear Red from head to toe to show your support!

Wednesday, October 22nd: "Caps for Cops" - $1 donation - Wear a baseball style cap to school to support Winter Garden Police Officers riding bicycles 250 miles in remembrance of Police Officers killed in the line of duty.
