2013-2014 PTO News
This year has already set-out to be an exciting school year! The PTO board has been planning throughout the summer to maximize the support and enrichment we provide our school. We can only make it a great and successful year with all your support and participation!! For that reason, we are very thankful that you have decided to become a PTO member and look forward to working with you in whichever capacity or level of participation you chose.
Please mark your calendars; our first PTO meeting will be on Thursday, September 12th at 7pm in the school’s media center. We invite everyone to attend. This will be a great time to get an overview of our plans for the school year, provide input, ask questions, get to know other parents, and get involved in your areas of interest. Our meetings throughout the school year will be held the 2nd Thursday of each month at the same time and place.
You may visit our website at www.woepto.org for lots of useful information throughout the school year. The website can be used to access meeting minutes, newsletters, the budget, PTO forms, information on ongoing programs, contact information, and the calendar of events.
We encourage you to visit our volunteer page to sign up for our committees or let us know which areas you would like to help with. In addition to activities that are sponsored by PTO, we will also list areas and programs in which the school needs assistance and support. You may connect directly at www.woepto.org/pto/volunteer. On our volunteer page, you can also connect to the ADDitions application that must be completed by anyone volunteering at the school and must be updated each year.
